Pete Villhauer

Pete Villhauer joins the Dirty Birds coaching staff in 2026 as one of the most experienced developmental coaches in Metro Atlanta, bringing more than 17 years and over 100 rec and select teams to the program. He has coached every level from U9 through high school, both boys and girls, and served as President of the Cherokee Youth Lacrosse Association, where the program grew from 100 players to 400 during his term and laid the foundation for all six feeder programs supporting the Cherokee High School system. He has also worked with Blessed Trinity, Woodstock and Etowah in a range of capacities and at every level, and is a certified high school official for both the boys’ and girls’ game. Pete’s own playing career began in one of the sport’s deepest traditions, at Christian Brothers Academy in Syracuse, New York, and continued at the Rochester Institute of Technology. Off the field, he is a Facility Engineering Manager at Lockheed Martin. He lives in Woodstock with his wife Bobbi, where they raised four children: Brittney, Brook, Bailey and PJ. Brittney went on to play at the University of Pittsburgh and Brook at Reinhardt University.
