Evan Voss joined the Dirty Birds coaching staff in 2026 as one of the most decorated players ever to step onto the sideline for the program. A northern Georgia native and 2021 graduate of Harrison High School, Evan went on to play at Lenoir-Rhyne University in Hickory, North Carolina — where he developed into an elite offensive player and one of the most accomplished attackmen in program history. Over his collegiate career, Evan was a three-year starter, 2x All-American, 2x All-South Atlantic Conference (SAC) honoree, and 2x team captain. He was named to the SAC All-Tournament Team in 2022 and helped his team capture the SAC Championship that same year. In 2023, Evan helped lead the Bears to their first-ever NCAA National Championship in program history — and was named the NCAA Tournament Most Outstanding Player, cementing his place among the best players of his generation. In 2024, he helped lead Lenoir-Rhyne to another SAC Championship and a national championship game appearance. He finished his collegiate career ranked 3rd in program history in assists (103), 5th in total points (200), and 8th in goals (97). Currently serving as an Assistant Coach at Berry College in Mount Berry, Georgia, Evan is already making his mark on the coaching side of the game. At Dirty Birds, Evan serves as Director of Recruiting & Select Programming, working alongside Program Director Chris Hasbrouck to guide DBL’s recruiting efforts and expand the program’s footprint at the elite level. In this role, Evan leads 1-on-1 recruiting meetings and group calls with Junior and Senior players and their families — walking them through the college recruiting process, realistic timelines by division, and how to build their value with college programs over time. He also serves as the primary architect of DB Select, a new elite programming initiative launching in 2027 that will create additional pathways and development opportunities for the program’s top players. With a national championship pedigree, deep coaching connections across the college landscape, and a genuine investment in every player’s future, Evan brings a rare combination of excellence and purpose to the Dirty Birds sideline.
